Hospital ->Maternity Care – WELCOME!

Dr M. E. Horten, OB/GYN, practicing Midwifery Model care in a birth center setting.

Welcome to The Family Center team, led by Dr. Horten. We are so very glad you found an interest in our clinic and experienced doctors!

While we respect each person’s individual role play, we provide a realistic style of role play. We want to enjoy the role play as much as you do. What does that mean to us?

We role-play actual heights, weights, blood pressure results, ultrasounds, and births. We use realistic time frames based on your HUD, our machines, and urinalysis testing. So you won’t get any information before it would happen in a real life time frame.

What does all of this mean for you? We have certain expectations from you and your significant other to help enhance the realism of our role playtimes together.

~Please be prepared to do something about the visual appearance of your avatar to reflect your pregnancy.

There are so many options available to you:
• Purchase a bento or mesh belly
• Use the LoveMomma system by AvatarLove for your whole fertility, pregnancy, birth and body.
• Alter your own shape – Hands-On-Mommy has a pregnancy system that uses your existing mesh body to give you a full experience from belly growth to pregnancy health.

~Please disable all gestures and random sounds. This actually interrupts the role-play process.

~ We don’t accept those who know the baby’s gender before 20 weeks.  This is roleplay with our team as much as it is for you.

~ We don’t accept 2-4 hour conversions, the pregnancy goes by too fast and doesn’t allow for rp time for our team.

~There are no magic tonics or potions to make your pregnancy go faster or slower, this is something we adjust before we make appointments with you. Please decide on a time frame and stick with it.

~Please respond with more than one-word responses when we type to you. If you continue to do so, we may have to talk about it OOC. We take the time to detail our roleplay, at least attempt to reciprocate the effort. Also… please don’t use txt speak.

~ If you are deciding to end a pregnancy while you are a patient with us, we take this very seriously. We would love to be able to have a safe and open conversation about any potential decision before it is made. We understand that difficult things happen but we are now just as invested as you are in the well-being of your baby.

We are in this together and that is the only way we can have a successful role play, TOGETHER. We so look forward to seeing you at your appointment and everyone to follow!
