The Rules
Rules for LCNM affiliated Region(s) AKA LC and MN regions.
1. Linden Labs TOS (Terms Of Service) is to be followed.
2. Harassment/Discrimination in any form is not tolerated – we’re inclusive and our only intolerance is intolerance.
3. Gossip / Rumors / Drama to stay off Region. Don’t be a Drama Llama!
4. If it does not belong to you, don’t touch it without permission; this means if it’s not your home don’t go into it as well.
5. Moderate Region – No Nudity or Sexual Acts in public. What is done in your private home or hotel room (located far away from the general rp area and clearly marked 18+ only) is your business. Please keep intimacies to IM and inside your home and your attire Moderate Rating safe. Odds are if you have to ask if your clothing is acceptable it probably isn’t… Those playing children who are found in clearly designated “18+” region areas will be removed from the region and given a warning. Multiple warnings could lead to a suspension or permanent ban from the LC associated regions.
6. Keep RL Politics out of your RP here. This is not the place for it.
7. Our Custom Banking system will be used in all role play businesses and service areas.
a. Hospital Role Play fees are to be billed and paid via our currency system, etc…
b. Maternity, Off Region Role Players etc, excluded from currency system.
c. Businesses that accept Lindens (shops) for their created content are excluded from the banking system, including DFS/DLS products, but will be eligible to sell their things in the community to community members for our custom currency.
8. Role Play is to be in the correct attire (Police in Police uniform, Fire Dept. in Fire Uniforms, Doctors in Scrubs, etc…) Also please don’t wear bedroom attire out in public. We are a Family Roleplay Community.
9. All avatars are welcome in the LC affiliated Region(s), within reason of their size, please keep it realistic.
a. Child avatars should be ages 7 and older to run around unaccompanied. In reality, you don’t see toddlers playing in the street, and if they do there are huge problems for their parents.
10. Role Play in LC affiliated Region(s) is not to be done while wearing another RP Region uniforms, unless called in for Mutual Aid.
11. All Role Play department members in positions of authority (Fire Chief and Fire Personnel, Security, Hospital Management, Municipal Government, Police, and assorted higher-up positions) must be cleared through Region management.
12. If you are running your own company on LC affiliated Region(s), your company policies do not supersede the policies of LC affiliated Region(s). All LC-affiliated Region(s) policies must be followed by everyone on Region.
13. Positions in LC affiliated Region(s) are applied for, no one will self appoint themselves to any position of authority i.e. Police, Fire, Security, US Government, New Mexico Government etc…)
14. Vehicles on LC affiliated Region(s) will be registered through the Lincoln County database.
15. All operations of a vehicle in will require a Drivers’s License. Please go to Town Control to register for an account and to ask for access to Cloudcroft
16. Those renting homes/businesses and Performers who rez boards etc within the Lincoln County NM and associated regions MUST have a LCAR Community Tag – in order to have rez rights, you must be a member of that group. Current Admins for that group are posted on the wall of the welcome center.
A. We don’t give rent credits for Toyah and Horten County for Roleplay
B. We don’t give refunds for renting in the LCAR
C. We don’t allow rezzing until individual have sat through our orientation class.
D. We use a combination of the WW Meter and DLS in our community. The use of the WW Meter is mandatory and we offer instruction in it’s use.
17. We are set in the current RL year but do NOT endorse, accept, or allow Covid-19 RP or HUD of any sort. We are an RP community that is made up of humans, (wild animals are allowed if they do not speak – no Mr. Ed or Scooby-Doo please,) and are not a community of Furries, Lycans, Vampires, or other mythological creatures. Supernatural Creature RP needs to be approved by the owner team. Please communicate with them before beginning any supernatural related storyline.
18. Despite having a disclaimer in your hud about logging, the TOS of SL as agreed to individually with Linden Labs reigns supreme here, as such private conversations and information must remain private and not be shared. Please see our drama rule again, as sharing IM’s only leads to drama
19. You may not operate a home based business. We do this to prevent issues with public entry and adult animations.
If all else fails common sense and the “Golden Rule” always applies. Treat others as you desire to be treated!
